Papillary transitional cell carcinoma

Low grade papillary transitional cell carcinoma. There is a marked increase in the thickness of the epithelium, to 10 to 12 layers of cells. There is overall maturation of the urothelium towards the surface, and occasional mitotic figures (arrow) are also present.
