IED Fragment Embolism to Left Posterior Cerebral Artery :: Imaging alone

Contrast enhanced CT angiogram of the head shows a radiopaque foreign body in the expected location of the basilar artery. There is satisfactory collateral filling of the posterior cerebral arteries (Fig. 1).
