A 32 year-old man with intermittent left groin pain of ten day’s duration
Testes are normal in size and somewhat tender. No fever or leukocytosis.
The testicles are symmetric in size and there is symmetric color flow.
Normal arterial wave forms are detectable on both sides.
The entire left testicle demonstrates inhomogeneous echo texture, lending it a striated appearance.
1. Intermittent testicular torsion
2. Epididymo-orchitis
3. Testicular infarction
Secondary to trauma, infection, vasculitis, or malignancy
