History:
Pt is a 48 year-old, ADAF male evacuated from Germany for further evaluation. He developed problems with cognition and memory beginning 3 months ago that continued to progress. At this time, the pt is unable to recall dates, time of day and also complains of short-term memory loss, describing several incidents of confabulations in the past few days as well as difficulty finding and following directions. The pt also complains of headache and increased somnolence, sleeping as much as 20 hours per day. He has increased left-sided body weakness, falling to the left while walking. The pt denies visual loss, vertigo, loss of consciousness, change in speech patterns, incontinence, and constipation.
