TITLE: Film 3

DESCRIPTION:
Follow-up CT scan (Film 3) performed 3 days later following deterioration of the patient's clinical condition demonstrate marked dilatation of the lateral and 3rd ventricles. A fluid level was noted within the lateral ventricles bilaterally. This was consistent with pus from rupture of the cerebral abscess into the ventricular system.
