Teaching Point or Hint:
Second presentation, three years later

TITLE: Secondary Glioblastoma

DESCRIPTION:
Axial T2-weighted images (March 2011) show an evident increase of the size of the lesion which contains cystic areas of necrosis. The lesion is surrounded by edema and exerts moderate mass effect to the surrounding structures. It extends to the right cerebral hemisphere through the anterior commissure and the corpus callosum. An area of T2 hyperintensity is noted in the right cerebral peduncle.
