DESCRIPTION:
The aorta (red) begins at the tricuspid aortic valve with the root - then the ascending aorta (midline to slightly right) - the aortic arch (with branches for the right brachiocephalic, left common carotid, and left subclavian) - then the descending thoracic aorta.
