| Title | colloid (mucinous)carcinoma |
| Text | This tumor usually appears as a lobulated mass on mammography. Only a minority have associated calcifications. They are likely to have a slow growth rate and low frequency of lymph node metastases. When compared to patients with infiltrating ductal carcinoma, women with pure mucinous carcinoma have a better relapse-free survival 5 and 10 years following mastectomy. |
