TitleHelp, Review and Approve TF Cases
TextHow do I Review and Approve a TF Case?
When a case is assigned to you, you will receive an Email with a link to the case.

Go to MedPix and Login, then click on the case link.
- OR -
From the blue menu bar at the top of the page, choose:
Tools -
=> Editor Tools
=> TF Cases to Review

While reviewing a case, start with the Patient Profile. Read the History, Labs, Summary of Findings, Differential Diagnosis, Treatment, Discussion etc.

Please read and review the captions for each and every image. Please click on each image to enlarge and review.

Please be especially careful and vigilant to ensure that no patient identifiers are included on the images, and that the Patient Profile does not sound too specific to point to an individual patient.

At any point you may edit the Patient Profile and/or the individual captions.

When you are satisfied the case is accurate and complete, click on [Approve Pt and Images].

If the case is not complete, you may [Approve Pt Only] and then work on the images individually.

You also have the option to [Disapprove Pt and All Images].

There are links on the page to send an Email message to the case contributor, so that you may contact them: [Author Info] and [Contact Author].

Some cases use existing approved Topic Factoids. However, if the case includes a NEW factoid, that must be reviewed and approved separately from the [Factoid] links.
