A combination of three unusual findings, of unknown etiology, described by Carney et al in 1977. Carney syndrome is the association of:
> pulmonary chondroma
> gastric epitheloid leiomyosarcoma (leiomyoblastoma)
> extraadrenal paraganglioma - hormonally functioning
