ACR Index: 7.7

History: The patient is a 67 year old male with acute GI bleed on a tagged red blood cell study demonstrating positive findings at the recto-sigmoid junction.

Findings: Digital subtraction angiography of the Inferior Mesenteric Artery demonstrated a small blush of contrast in a distal branch, superimposed over the descending colon. Subsequent coiling of the distal feeder artery to the hemorrhage demonstrated no evidence of contrast extravastion at repeat digital subtraction angiography.
