Cerebellopontine angle masses:
Most commonly are schwannomas (75%), from the vestibular portion of the vestibulo-chochlear nerve. Less likely to arise from CN 7.
DDx: “SAME”
S- schwannoma
A- Aneurysm, arachnoid cyst
M- Menigioma, Mets
E- Epidermoid, ependymoma.

This case has the classic ice-cream cone appearance of a schwannoma with the apex directed into the IAC. The other diagnoses are eliminated by the location and imaging characteristics.
