Cranial Exit: Jugular Foramen
Innervation: Motor to stylopharyngeus. Parasympathetics to parotid gland. Cutaneuos sensation from external ear. Visceral sensation from parotid gland, carotid body, carotid sinus, pharynx and middle ear. Taste from posterior 1/3 of tongue.
Function: Assist swallowing, taste, sensation from ear and visceral sensation
