Findings


Summary of Findings

Fat attenuation mass in middle cranial fossa on left on CT scan with scattered fat density droplets in subarachnoid spaces.

Mass in middle cranial fossa on left on MRI with fat signal intensity and small similiar lesions in the adjacent subarachnoid spaces.

Diffferential


Differential Diagnosis

Pneumocephalus
Congenital lipoma
Epidermoid cyst
Dermoid cyst

Diagnosis


Case Diagnosis

Dx: Dermoid cyst, ruptured


Dx Confirmed by: CT and MRI scans of the brain
