Chronic, diffuse, interstitial pulmonary disease may manifest on a radiograph as reticular, nodular, or a combination of the above reticulonodular, and linear.
Clinical history: 51 y/o female presents to ER with history of dry cough for two weeks.
Radiographic findings:
Chest PA/LAT- Diffuse bilateral pulmonary nodules measuring 1-4 mm. Approximately 5 cm poorly marginated mass in the superior segment of the left lower lobe.
Chest CT: Innumerable bilateral pulmonary nodules measuring 1-4 mm in diameter. Five cm in the mass in the superior segment LLL.
