    DIAGNOSIS: Fibrosing alveolitis (Ideopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis)

    CORRELATION: The specimen and its radiograph show irregular cystic spaces and uneven linear walls. This appearance is often called “honeycombing”, and is classic for fibrosis.
