DIAGNOSIS: Thyroid
adenoma
CORRELATION: The
CT shows a heterogeneous mass in the middle of the mediastinum with the trachea
both
narrowed and shifted to the right. The position and lack of nodularitystrongly
favor thyroid enlargement over lymph
nodes.
