There is a small, circumscribed, ovoid para-aortic mass immediately to the left of the aorta at the level of the superior mesenteric artery. The lesion is not in the adrenal gland. The adrenals are normal. The mass has very strong signal on T2WI; note that it is as bright as the gallbladder. Contrast-enhanced T1W images (not available)were performed and showed enhancement of the lesion, proving it is not cystic.
